Sustainability is at the core of everything we do at Documation, extending across our team from software development and implementation to customer support and in-house administration. The Documation Team are expected to consider the environmental and social impact of any work done on behalf of Documation. Our passion is creating an environment where motivated and ambitious people can achieve fulfilment and personal growth for themselves and their colleagues and success for our customers. Key to this drive are our core values of respecting each other, caring about our community, responsibly sourcing suppliers and actively reducing our carbon footprint to fight climate change.

Responsible

We are in a climate crisis; scientists around the world agree that we need to halve global emissions by 2030 and reach Net Zero by 2050. The IT sector accounts for around 3-6% of global emissions, and it’s predicted to rise to 20% by 2030. What can we do about it?

But sustainability is about more than emissions, it is also about transparency and society. We will be communicating our progress throughout, and publishing our emissions reports, reduction strategies, and interim assessments.

We’re also giving back, by supporting climate-related non-profits and educating our team on all things environmental.

As part of our commitment to sustainable and responsible business practices, Documation is a member of Tech Zero – the climate action group for tech companies committed to reaching net zero. As a member, we’ve committed to annually measure our carbon emissions, publish a net zero plan, and take action to get to net zero and an abundant future for all.
