Whitevision successfully signed and closed the acquisition of Documation, marking its second acquisition in the UK.
The Hague, July 14, 2026 – Whitevision, an international provider of Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) software solutions, announces the acquisition of Documation, a UK-based developer of Intelligent Purchase-to-Pay and AP Automation software solutions. This transaction marks the fifth step in Whitevision’s buy-and-build strategy and the second acquisition in the UK since partnering with Main Capital Partners (“Main”) in August 2024.
Founded in 1993 and headquartered in Southampton (UK), Documation specializes in software solutions focused on optimizing the processing of financial documents. The Documation suite automates the full downstream purchase-to-pay process, from purchase order creation and goods receipt to invoice matching, accounts payable processing and financial reporting. Documation software is used across various sectors, including education, corporates, healthcare, manufacturing and municipalities.
Documation and Whitevision operate in the fast-growing Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) software market, driven by trends like increasing digitization and (AI-driven) process automation, which are expected to continue expanding the global market. Through the combination with Documation, Whitevision expands its comprehensive document automation offering and increases its market share in the UK. The acquisition marks a strategic step in positioning Whitevision as a consolidator in the industry while further enhancing its product portfolio.
