Internal Sales Executive

Summary:

This is a great role for someone who enjoys being an integral part of a small team whose goal it is to make Documation the ‘go to’ business process management software solution, with particular focus on back office functions such as Accounts Payable, Purchase to Pay, Expenses and Robotic Process Automation (RPA). This person will be responsible for linking the brand awareness and initial contact from marketing activities to prospective accounts becoming sales qualified leads. There is opportunity to grow with the role and take on more responsibility and tasks within marketing and sales and a form a close working relationship with our partner solution providers.
There will be time set aside to expand skill sets, with internal and external training, along with working in a constantly developing and learning environment.
Working closely with the wider business, the Sales & Marketing department is a point of contact for both new business and account management and a desire and ability to learn about the solutions and services we provide is essential. Confidence when communicating on the phone, by email and at meetings is an important part of the role.

Essential skills and experience:

Experienced appointment setter with focus on researching key decision makers within identified markets.  A confident and tenacious manner, with excellent people skills and confidence dealing with Management and Director Level prospects. A good command of English, proficient MS Office Skills and experience in CRM management & Google analytics is a must.

Desirable skill and experience:

Background in Software Solution sales, Salesforce, Pardot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator.

1+ year experience preferred

Candidates

The successful candidate will be experienced in appointment setting at management level and above.  Having an excellent telephone manner, with a good experience of objection handling, whilst remaining true to the Company ethos and retaining a level of humility, is essential.   The ability to listen to the pain points and analyse the prospects needs and identify relevant solutions is key, along with being self-motivated, enthusiastic, pro-active and genuinely interested in sales in a B2B role.  Experience in a similar role is essential, along with MS office and CRM skills.
