P2P Summit

Purchase to Pay Network Transformation Summit

We were lucky enough to be a premium partner at the Purchase to Pay Network Transformation Summit on Tuesday 8th June, and WOW what a day!
The Purchase to Pay Network has always hosted exceptional live events with their overall professionalism and industry knowledge coming to the fore, but in the world of virtual, this is so much harder.

After a shaky start, last year and live event organisers trying to find their feet in the virtual tech platform world the Purchase to Pay Network nailed it this time.

It kicked off with a fabulous keynote by Ade Adepitan, telling how he has tackled challenges and how diversity in teams and groups can make you stronger.  It really was an inspirational story and one that will stick with me for some time.

This was followed by a series of talks including Philip King, the Government’s Small Business Commissioner and others covering such diverse subjects from dirty data to a hybrid working model.  There was advice on business partnering, tech trends that rock our world, finance and procurement and why they are a match made in heaven to name but a few.

The whole day culminated in the Purchase to Pay Network annual awards ceremony where teams and individuals in finance and procurement were recognised for their achievements following independent nominations.  Documation sponsored the award for Outstanding contribution to P2P and were delighted to see Macnaughton Blair as a finalist, amongst Tarmac and Breeden Group.

All in all, a great day, with opportunities to catch up with new contacts and old, on an easy to use, intuitive platform.  Thanks, PPN – looking forward to next year!
